I enjoy working on the cross of cultures and posses high cultural intelligence. I have lived in 5 countries over the last 18 years. Experience of moving from country to country made me comfortable with uncertainty and sudden change.
European Chapter
I was born in Moscow and moved to Saarbruecken/Germany in 2005 while knowing about ten words in German.
I did my Bachelor and Master degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance and Statistics in the University of Saarland (2005-2010).
I worked both in Germany and abroad. I spent the most amazing three months in Dubai while working on a market research project.
I backpacked through most of Europe and visited Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Luxembourg, Belgium, and Netherlands among other countries.
I made some lifelong connections, such as with Prof. Bernd Hallier (RIP), my mentor and a thought leader from European Retail Academy - where I have been volunteering from 2006 to 2023.
Asian Chapter
In 2010 I moved to Hong Kong, where I took a role of Risk Executive in a German company in financial services sector.
Hong Kong is one of the most vibrant and dynamic places on Earth and Asian traveling hub. I had a chance to befriend people from over 40 countries, and to visit Thailand, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Latin American Chapter
In 2012 I moved with my future husband to Mexico and lived for a year on the beach.
We have been traveling in the region and visited Peru, Canada and a number of times the USA.
In 2018 I completed 4 years of bilingual qualitative research and obtained PhD degree in Knowledge Management.
I have been consulting in strategic optimization through business process improvement and knowledge management.
Since June 2020 I have been leading a Knowledge Management (KM) team in IT area of KPMG US. In this role I have transitioned KM services from USA to Mexico, developed KM strategy and roadmap, worked on definition of KPIs and processes both for ITIL and conventional KM.
In April 2023 I moved to Cancun, Mexico to take a break from buzzing megalopolis and to slow down.
I have become quite Mexican over the last ten years.
